As a partner within the firm’s financial institutions practice, Scott Phillips, CPA, CIA, is responsible for the delivery of best-in-class service and providing risk management and financial statement audit services to clients in the financial services industry. He works exclusively with publicly traded and privately held financial institutions and other financial services entities.
With more than 18 years of experience, Scott often speaks to clients and their audit committees on current topics relevant to the financial institutions industry and the impact on their organization. In addition to his client-serving responsibilities, Scott serves as an engagement quality reviewer for a number of Plante Moran’s financial institution audit clients and is a member of the firm’s Internal Audit Advisory Board where he helps shape the firm’s approach to internal audit services for their financial institution clients.
